im hoping this album skyrockets them to Grammy fame, just so they can get their name REALLY out there. it has to be nice to have a Grammy though, right?

Yeah that would be so sick if this album came out and they just blew up and won a Grammy.

Another drum take? weird. But at least a couple of songs are already mixed and they keep talking about new sum 41 music and sum 41 rockness, which really I think means a single. I guess Deryck finally finished recording all the vocals, quietly without even telling us :P

just cause they mixed some songs doesnt mean were gonna have a single soon

they have to master the songs too before they release it

Being mixed is a step closer to being done.

And the song they'll release a single should be done earlier as all of the rest, imo.

By the way: if the new album gets released in August, a single isn't that far away anymore. How would you explain all of the 'get ready for some new music'-messages otherwise?

maybe they're saying that because they're releasing a new album

but thats just my opinion

I don't even care. I just hope for that Grammy thing. But at the same time, i don't. A lot of people will start liking them, then i can't be the only one anymore.

We've heard part of one in the videos. And it sounded like Radiohead (to me anyway)

I'm talking about a completed, full song.

There's nothing wrong with being enthousiastic though, but we need to be realistic as well. At least for now.

i thought raidiohead also .... that sounded good but i hope its not all like that .. i dont like radio head

Well, Cone told me that they should have one soon:

i hope tom lord-alge pushs deryck or the whole band to finish mixing fast not just getting drunk and doing nothing...
and btw. cone said that they gonna record another new song in the next few days in miami!

Well they better have a single before the Toronto-show, because that's the 9th of July.

I'm pretty sure they'll have one sooner than that.

They better do some signings. It'll be cool to meet them and get some autographs/pictures.

I'd guess the single is released 23d june, since that particular day keeps showing up everywhere.
