Altogether, it was probably around $1000 CAN. Here are the parts I used to make it and where to get them:Ihaveafatlip wrote:How much was that anyways? can you tell me all the specs and how u got it and such? :D

No, I like it. But the magic and novelty of being a Deryck replica has worn off. I thought if I had this guitar I wouldn't care to use another electric guitar for the next 5 years or something.Jake-41 wrote:Don't like it anymore?
Any marriage that ends up like that should never happenJake-41 wrote:I understand. I hope marriage doesn't end up like that.
What size strings do you use, anyway?
Well buying a guitar and getting married are two completely different things that cannot be compared. A human being has a personality that can change with time while a guitar is just a slab of wood that never says anything back to you. You can't grow with a guitar like you can a person (the right person).Jake-41 wrote:I understand. I hope marriage doesn't end up like that.

i like the D'Addario 10's, they sound real nice and you get a decent lifespan out of them.Jeremy Kill wrote:
As for strings, I really like using D'Addario 10's. Right now I have some Dean Markley Blue Steels, but they sound too bright. I don't really like them that much.
