Too true man. Thats why most of the time I refrain from discussions like this, especially with my friends. But just some of those posts really made me so angry I felt I had to say something. But hey, at least I helped and maybe inspired those who wanted more info on this, and I guess thats what really counts.

religion is just as cruel as Hitler , they had sent kids to war just like Hitler did and seriously,sometimes I feel like the Bible was only written so that some very smart man/men may rule the people who believe in that stuff ...
it worked out well,people,work all day,you can't do anything else but work for God,although in reality you work for us,smarter men ...
and if by any chance somebody was smart enough to try to tell any different opinion about the world(Galileo Galilei),then he was killed,painfully,in front of a big crowd(so they could see how it goes)

In Buddhism and Hinduism meat is shunned upon. So therefore by your own logic, meat should not be eaten due to religion.
