Lesser Known Bands

Post by Bass Cone »

If you have any lesser known bands that need some new fans post them here. I think it will be a good way to get away from the mainstream for a while. They don't have to be super indie bands that no one has ever heard of. Just some that aren't Fall Out Boy or Relient K  Here are some I recommend:

The Mountain Goats- They're an alternative folk band that I really enjoy. Whenever I listen to them I just relax and think. And afterwards I find myself at peace and generally feel better.

Fake Problems- I post a link to their albums before, I'm not sure how many people downloaded it, but they're a good band. As I said before they're a folk punk band with a lot of talent. Great songwriting and they sound like they know what they're doing.
Born and Raised http://youtube.com/watch?v=f1p67fyvyBc&feature=related

Shout Out Out Out Out- If you want to get into some electronic music I suggest this band.
Self Loathing Rulz http://youtube.com/watch?v=LX9i5hhVJ5Y&feature=related

There's not really much I can say other than to take a listen and decide for yourself. Oh and if you decide you want an album from any of these bands just ask and I'll post one.

I suggest the songs "Indie Rock Girl" and "Let It Go".

Park: http://www.purevolume.com/park
I suggest you listen to "Trophy Wife", "Gasoline Kisses For Everyone", and "Who Is Aliandra?"
They're the best unknown band, ever. Download there albums in my "My Uploads" thread in the Other Multimedia section.
And I know I said I needed space,

but I know I can't be comfortable in my own skin.

So when I say I'm scared to be alone, you know I mean it,

I'm just not ready to leave my room.
