I think that there's actually something wrong with Avril because of a lot of reasons and that's why Deryck wasn't at the MMVA's. Avril canceling her show without her management giving a reason. The venue said it was because of her health and the Jonas Brothers (her supporting act) said that it was because of a trucker strike, meaning her equipment wouldn't get there. But then Deryck didn't show up at the MMVA's and Avril is nowhere to be found either. Plus in her acceptance speech she looked distraught. If it wasn't canceled because she's sick or the trucker strike, I think her grandma died, not to be a pessimist. Anyways, this isn't about Avril, but that could explain Deryck's whereabouts. Or maybe I'm just looking into it too much.

Yeah, the only thing is that with the strike being lifted, all the stuff needing to be shipped during the strike is now being shipped in trucks, so I'm sure the roads are clogged. Then again, I have no clue. It's just what I'm hearing from the Spanish people

i can tell you the spanish fans are really pissed with everything cuz they didn't give a good reason to cancel the show plus they annouced the cancellation the same day as the show was supposed to be held
i don't care i wasn't going anyway and to be honest i don't wanna see her live in this tour the whole the best damn thing annoys me
and i repeat the trucker strike excuse is bullshit it was over 3 days before the show

Yeah, there are a lot of negative comments out there. I don't think anybody really knows what happened, and Nettwerk still hasn't said why it was canceled (they also haven't said why Deryck wasn't at the MMVA's, if that's even important). I'm from Avril's website, and just sent an email to someone at Avril's management. They haven't replied yet, which they always do right away. That makes me think it's a bigger deal than it seems. But who knows.

I just don't know why Deryck and his wife are both nowhere to be found. Kidnapping? I'm still pissed they lost to Hedley. I can just imagine Steve's heart dropping when they lost that.

Nah not really. Basically we just tell them what people want to know and they release statements for either us to post or for them to post on Avril's Myspace blog. Everything they email us, we post haha

Yeah, I don't know anything. I was under the impression that Deryck would be at the MMVA's as well. Because they did say "Sum 41 will be presenting". If Deryck wasn't going to be there, wouldn't they announce that "Cone and Steve from Sum 41 will be presenting" ? Hmm...
