so where DID you first hear "Jack's Mannequin"? the radio? no, couldn't be. could it?
That's actually what I did. I went on AP.net and saw a post about Jack's Mannequin. Everyone was talking about the story and how good the band is. I read about his battle with Leukimia and decided that if he can fight through that and make an album, he's definitely worth a listen. Positive reviews + a fight with cancer = can't suck.

That's what I've done with a lot of bands. I just ask someone "what's a good band?" and they'll tell me, and I'll download the albums. I will listen to anything. It only takes 20 minutes to download an album, so why not?
That's what I'll usually do. The only radio I listen to is the Punk station on Sirius radio.

After this thread, I think I love you.
I've always thought you were kind of cute ;)
<3  So, I hear you want a Brand New sig  PM me and give me some details to go with.
I'm okay right now. I like being kind of anonymous on here. I should probably take that out of my sig that I want a new sig, because I really don't. The only thing I want is a sig of Franzen holding up the Stanley Cup after this monday's game when the Wings' win the cup.
And I know I said I needed space,

but I know I can't be comfortable in my own skin.

So when I say I'm scared to be alone, you know I mean it,

I'm just not ready to leave my room.

You should listen to the ataris. The singer went through a divorce, over-dosed on PCP on a train and other stuff and made an album. Its a rather slow album but the band pwns :ugeek:

Are you trying to compare someone who went through chemo with someone who got divorced? That shouldn't even be brought up. Jack's and SoCo > Ataris

Why are we comparing bands based on what people in them went through? I'm not going to listen to a band for sympathy. I don't really like the Ataris or JM...

Then why did you join the ataris forum

BTW, Jordan, he over-dosed on PCP on a train in berlin, after he got divorced, and almost killed himself. He also has ADD I think

I have 2 or 3 of The Ataris' albums. The latest one is the only one that I actually purchased. I heard the single, Not Capable Of Love... I think that's the name... and was like whoa this album is going to be amazing. Then I bought the album... liked 3 songs if that... and decided that The Ataris weren't worth my time.
And I know I said I needed space,

but I know I can't be comfortable in my own skin.

You should have just said that you wanted it. I would have gladly uploaded it for you. I hope you check out the next album when it releases this fall.
