I went last year, but I went to Leeds because..well its closer...and better.
Last year the headliners were Smashing Pumpkins, Razorlite and Red Hot Chili Peppers but I couldn't be arsed with any of them...

last year i saw...
*Gym Class Heroes
*Hellogoodbye
*The Used
*Billy Talent
*Lost Prophets
*Kate Nash
*Fall Out Boy
*Gallows
*Aiden
*Enter Shikari
*Angels and Airwaves (who actually sucked ass)
*Maximo Park
*Panic at the disco
*Jimmy Eat World
*New Found Glory
*The Living end
*The Warlords of Pez

thats all i can think of for now, great festival just make sure you take alot of spending money. I ran out on day one =[

Yes, reading is where i'd like to go, because of Metallica and Avenged, but others don't seem so bad either, not a fan, but i'd deffinetly check them out like Serj and Bloc Party and such .

fuckin too rite im goin JV!!! bought my ticket on monday. amazing lineup imo. RATM and Metallica, Slipknot, Tenacious D, Biffy Clyro, Bloc Party, Editors, The Subways, Serj Tankian, Avenged Sevenfold, The Cribs, TBS. can't wait for this. its gonna be awesome.

and this lineup totally shits on the Download lineup this year. im still going to Download though, but this year im looking forward to reading more than i am Download, which is a first.

Haha , i knew it ! But yeah , Download's lineup isn't indeed so good as the Reading one . I think last year's was better (except for MCR) . I mean, Metallica makes even the shittiest line up pretty decent , so this is really awesome . It'd be a nice finish to the summer tbh .

yea, apart from MCR headlining, last years download was pretty good. my favourite year was 2006 though, that was an aweosme lineup imo. Metallica were incredible, i can't wait to see them again
