I think it is because the song is uncomfortable for Deryck to sing. If you pay attention he has to sing really low and high in that song. It might hurt his vocal chords or something.

He sounds like....really different from when he plays other songs, so yeah...
You guys should just ask him on the Q & A or on MySpace. But have the label on the message to him or something.

I have a live DVD of Sum 41 playing live in London and another one in Tokyo, and they played in too deep live on both DVD's :O

Yeah, If you have the DVDs with live shows (Sake Bombs and Happy Endings...And Introduction to Destruction) you can see them play it live. I seemed to notice it was one of the less energetic songs for both the band and for the crowd in both gigs.
