you want a really tinny bass sound. its mainly the tones you want to adjust. just play around with them and do the exact opposite of anything that gets you mumbly mushy bass. try to get it as poppy as possible.

For a sum 41 sound thats good for punk rock: put your guitar on rythem if you hav a pickup selecer) then put your gain on hight, bass on high, and treble on high 8)
works perfect for me

for punk rock, the settings dont have to be too specific
i think thats the whole beauty of it. just plug in and play, without spending half an hour adjusting knobs...

there really arent any good settings...you just have to have the right equipment.

Seymour Duncan Basslines SPB-3 Quarter Pound Precision Bass Pickup in your bass

then most likely an Ampeg amp

if you have stuff along those lines you can easily get pop punk sounds
