cone messaged me back today saying that its prolly going to be released on myspace for a free download, but hes not sure yet

I had a feeling it'll be like that which will mostly suck cuz the quality will probably suck, although if its gonna be for a free download from the beggining, it might good like Brown Brigade's free instrumental track.

yea the quality will be good, Attitude was just shitty quality because it wasnt a free download and u had to go through all that shit to rip it

man, what are you people talking about, i think attitude and the bonus tracks of underclass hero are pretty good, it seemed like deryck "forced" writing the rest of the album.

not really but whatever. I don't we're ever going to get to hear that new b-side. I mean, everytime someone on sum41.com asks a question about when the next road to ruin is, all they can say is "it's coming out soon", all im saying, we shouldnt get our hopes up for this.

We will see this b-side. This probably means a lot to Cone and if he really wants something to happen, it will happen. He has to really want it to happen though.

It'll come out eventually, but not "soon".

Honestly, from the band's perspective, I can see releasing Road to Ruin 8 as a very low priority right now. They're starting to tour again, they've got a new single and video ready to go... so it just probably doesn't cross their mind to put it up.

Unless it's Dipple's job to put those things up in which case he should stop partying with Avril and Deryck and throw that video on the site!

Yeah i mean, they could've done episode 8 at least when Deryck was home resting with his back injury.
We've seen already another episoe of R2R where only Cone and Steve introduced the episode, i forgot what episode it was though.

I like the UH b-sides a lot. TALAY is one of the best UH songs imo.

But the quality issue. All UH b-sides were mixed by Deryck, while album tracks were mixed by Lord-Alge (except Poubelle and So Long Goodbye).
And imo, the quality of the album tracks is much better than in UH b-sides.

So since Deryck is mixing the Cone song...

Anyways, I'm glad Cone is finally getting to do something cool for Sum 41! Cone is my favorite guy from Sum 41; I can't wait to hear it

ive also gotten deryck to answer my question a couple times on sum 41s myspace, wish there was another way to contact steve other then the Q&As on the main site
