chuck was good but not my fave. they use the words "fake" and "blame" way too many times. and it was too "metal" for me

Steve: "Your's is almost an instrument, it's almost like the guitar. But..."
Cone: "You bang on things!"
Steve: "No, I keep the beat, much more complicated. Plus, I think I've been playing mine longer than you."
Cone: "Ooooh."
Steve: "Yeah, you see, I'm on what's called the intermediate level, Cone's still novice."

Wow.

I feel really old right now knowing that this generation of the hardcore Sum 41 fans only just started buying Sum 41 albums at Chuck :|

Heh, I started a year after Infected came out. Am I cool? Haha.

Infected was my first Sum 41 album (I burned a copy of it from my brother). But Chuck was the first one I actually bought.

I never bought All Killer until about a year and a half ago because it was always $20 freakin' dollars whenever I saw it.

me too.

we didn't have download access before that. the first Sum 41 song i heard was What We're All About when we got the Spiderman DVD.

later, my friend asked if i could burn a CD for him, i said yes and one of the songs was We're All To Blame. didn't really like it then.

later yet, i had to do a report on a band. i wanted to do a canadian band, nickelback was taken and i didn't know which other one to do. (while this report was going on Pieces and Some Say was on the radio) i was listening to the radio one night thinking about it and Pieces came on. i decided i would pick Sum 41.

i decided that i wanted to play a song from the "new" CD and i previewed some on the internet and No Reason really caught my attension.

a week or two later, i bought it. it was $30

i bought DTLI? a year later, got AKNF for Christmas the same year (last year) and won HHOP just a few months ago.

Oh dear! Then you'd have to resort to how people got music for ages and ages before downloading was available - BUYING THE ALBUM! :O

*lol* I'm teasing, but that statement really made me laugh. Having downloading access doesn't dictate if you listen to/are into music or not.

In England you have to had liked them from the beggining or else you'd have never heard of them. All Killer No filler is basically the only thing from the Sums to have gotten proper media coverage. :(
