i mean, they do cover a few whole songs.
but their Trooper cover, Master Of Puppets cover, and Bro hymen cover are only parts. its cool but its annoying somtimes. i would love them to hear them cover the whole song. also, they should cover more.
why cant sum 41 cover WHOLE ENTIRE songs?

I think the reason they only cover song parts is that the songs that they partly cover have good instrumentals and they like having random instrumentals in the middle of and between songs.
Adam (Open Your Eyes), Amy (Mr. Penguin), and Sasha (Young,Dumb,And Full Of Cum...) are my noobs.
Claudia is my grand-noob.
Lisette (bunny) is my great-grand noob.

Yeah they do cover lots of songs fully but only when they choose to.
like they covered Rolling Stones's "Mother's Little Helper" especially for the AOL sessions, and Deryck covered Oasis's "Morning Glory" for Yahoo Music (and they also performed it on Pepsi Smash), and the Metallica Medley for the MTV Icon (although like all the other artists on the Icon, they could choose only one song, but the medley ruled anyway), and stuff like that.
other than that, all those live covers are almost never full covers, and i guess the reason is really cuz the instrumentals fit.
they do it sometimes very cool, combining like some riff of some famous song into their own songs.
like with the Pennywise cover, and RATM's Bullet in the Head which was basically a cover of the riff, that they combined along with their Nothing On my Back,
or how they combined the Elvis cover with Machine gun and stuff like that.
Also, The Trooper always sounds cool just to play a little bit instrumentals, but they did cover a large part of the song in the Detroit bootleg in 2000, with this Bowling for soup lead vocalist.
Other than that, there's lots of full covers, like Nickelback's How You Remind Me, Beatles's I'm A Loser, Queen's Killer Queen and Misfits's Attitude, which all were made special (like in studio or special live performance), like that they always play random stuff like AC/DC's Back in Black riff , and some of RATM's riffs.

Pretty sure that would just bring on more criticism about them being a copycat Blink band. I wouldn't be covering a band that my band has been accused of copying since day one, if I was in a band *lol*sumfan wrote:but seriously. they should cover some blinkPhili wrote:Oh, please, no.

Yes. Very much so. They've always been classified as "Blink 182 wannabes" and such.
It started with Makes No Difference and Fat Lip and the like...and then people never listened or gave them a chance after that, to prove that they didn't sound like Blink...
