CYLB has a cool riff that kicks in just before the chorus, one of my favourite parts of the album infact.

i dislike AKNF because it seems to me that most of the songs ARE filler. they made song great songs, but then had to fill in empty spaces to get over the 30 minute mark. in UH they made songs that are their best yet and it great cause most, if not all UH songs are fu*knig great and no filler.

I 100% agree.

It's not the solos I'm missing so much...it's the GUITAR in general.

Anyone else notice there ISN'T ANY in Sum 41 anymore? It's all shitty, 3 chord rhythm that any asshole could play.

To me, what I loved in Sum 41, was the overall sound...which very much entailed guitar. Real guitar. Deryck said that wouldn't go away with Dave...but it very, very much did.

the music has gone down, but the lyrics are mind blowing. anwyays lets see any of us do better!

:P they've been doing this along time, and have put out some of the best songs in a long time IMO. so take it easy, its not the easiest thing to do (wrting songs ect) give them some respect and credit. :D

Yeah i agree, on DLTI and Chuck the lead guitar was definetly one of the most exciting things about the albums.

Yeah I agree. That's what made Sum 41 unique from all the other bands in their genre. When Chuck came out Sum 41 was being compared to Metallica. With Underclass Hero, it's Blink and Green Day.

Personally, I rather have them being compared to Metallica if they ever get compared at all.
