According to Steve it's a word from Deryck's "crazy little mind".

lol sometimes it seems sums just title songs from unlinked words or sentences they made up or heard and it has nothing to do with the song.

Kinda like "No Brains" was "Yesterday.com" and "food" before it's final name and kinda like Hell Song's lyrics has nothing to do with it's title (never though of it, but Hell Song? WTF :P ), or Mr. Amsterdam that has nothing to do with the lyrics, i mean, who the fuck is Mr Amsterdam? he's not in the songs...
or Hooch or Billy Spleen.... some songs who i always found them having no connection at all between subject of lyrics and title...
so as Noots, which imo should've been called No Apologies.

I also liked Sum 41's cover of Killer Queen. It was so weird hearing Deryck sing like that and I almost couldn't believe it was him. But songs like Look At Me pretty much confirm that Deryck can sing outside of his norm.

Yeah that's true.
I agree about the Killer Queen cover, very unique!
i couldn't believe it was Deryck at the beginning! it sounded so good, so realistic, almost like Freddie Mercury's original! which is amazing cuz people always bash Deryck that he's just another annoying punk vocalist but look at him in Killer Queen pulling that voice like Freddie Mercury or that John Lennon style voice in Look At me.
amazing!
