nope, nobody of them covered nobody and there's really no point.
I mean, you could say there were exactly in the same time and same genre.
Have you ever seen stuff like Led Zeppelin covering Pink Floyd or stuff? or Linkin Park covering Papa Roach?
it's the same. no surprise.
they kinda together in the same time and genre, and performing together in few festivals and stuff, so it would be stupid to see blink performing like "Violence" (my fav. blink song :D) and then sums doing it too in their set, although i think Deryck could do the vocals great in that one (in Stockholm Syndrome too).

Yeah it could been, and i gave those examples to show two bands of the same genre who played/playing in the same time, and to show how it's not surprising, cuz sumfan said he's surprised.SociallyInept wrote:Papa Roach and Linkin Park...?
Like Papa Roach or Linkin Park who never covered each other, or Pink Floyd or Led Zeppelin, or same can go for Black Sabbath and Rainbow, and Deep Purple and Whitesnake.
None of these covered each other cuz they performed at the same years then and were in the same genre.

i saw some vides where Finger Eleven coverd Franz Ferdiinad, and Pink Floyd, they were awesome. they cut off in Paralyzer and started to play "take Me Out". i found that hilarious because they were critized bacause Paralyzer's riffs sounded a lot like Take Me Out's.

I know, I meant they aren't really playing the same music. Actually, I shouldn't say that because I've only heard 2 Papa Roach songs but, from what I've heard they're pretty different from each other.Hentaiman wrote:Yeah it could been, and i gave those examples to show two bands of the same genre who played/playing in the same time, and to show how it's not surprising, cuz sumfan said he's surprised.SociallyInept wrote:Papa Roach and Linkin Park...?

Papa Roach in their earlier years were smiliar to Linkin Park.
kinda alternative/nu-metal music, now Papa Roach aren't rapcore anymore, but still Linkin and Papa roach kinda in the same musical genre, or at least thought to be.
anyway, Papa roach are milion times better anyway.
