Mmh...the reviewer is actually totally right, but he exaggerates a bit. :)
For me the UH Album showed me: Not everyhere where "Sum 41" is written on, Sum 41 is also "inside" it.

this guy is a JOKE. the writter was, and allways will be Deryck. i will not argue the fact the Deryck < Dave , but this guy is stupid. learn a bit about the band before you completely try to diss them.

I think it's partly because Green Day became pretty shitty after Dookie and American Idiot was like "finally, something decent from these guys!" So that was probably why it was praised so much.
