ok so how do you download photohop for free and how do you make pic banner or sigs whatever you call them lol

You have to download it like from Limewire or something... The illegal way.

Then from there, just read up on some tutorials on how to make a basic avatar and signature. It's basically a matter of cropping, adding text and adding a border. But if you want to make it all fancy-like, then you have to kind of read more tutorials and kind of craft your own way and style of making things.

i downloaded Photoshop CS3 of of photoshops website. it took a while but i got it. then i deleted it cause i couldn't understand a thing. now i use gimp, but i think im gonna have to upgrade back to CS3.

Yeah, Photoshop is definately the way to go if you want a good quality signature.

I've been using Photoshop 7.0 since I was like 14 or something. But I'm no expert at it and I don't really experiment a lot. Progress is slow when you sometimes forget certain techniques and stuff to making something on photoshop.

I've been using photoshop since I first joined PD. I got told I was a natural. Never touched a tutorial and learnt by myself.

IF ANYTHING START WITH CHANNELS!
THEY ARE THE MOST HELPFUL THING EVER WHEN YOU KNOW HOW TO USE THEM TO AN ADVANTAGE

just play around with changing the colour settings from modes RGB to other stuff, and try loading selections and making new channels. find a tutorial about it will help you loads

you have to join. its free and you get a trial download for 30 days. i did that. before i got so confused that i downloaded Gimp 2.2.
