Which guitar is the best ?

Hello all , I'm discussing a bit of time with my friend about which guitar is the best.
I say it is the "Gibson les paul " while he says he is the "Fender stratocaster"

What do you say? Who is right?

Gibson Les Paul's are my favorite guitars so i would go with that.

There is a lot that can make a guitar good for YOU which for someone else is SHIT.
I'd say, The best way to approach guitars is to find your own taste and likes when it comes to sound and looks. I would never ever, really, never say that an entire model could be better than any other. They all have their own good traits and I like different guitars for different purposes.

A "best" guitar is in my opinion, the one you decide for yourself.

In complete fairness, vanilla is one of those high up on the list of good flavours.

All comes down to preference really, I have a couple fender strats, they are the coolest looking guitar imo and real nice to play. I find Les pauls a bit to bulky for my liking.You get a beefier tone out of les pauls though which is why I have humbuckers in both my strats, otherwise playing songs such as sum 41 ones for example would not sound right on the standard strat pick ups.
