The moshpits are usually in the middle, starting from row 3 to back. If you manage to get on rows 1 or 2, you should be safe from the pit. But to make sure, I'd suggest to go either left or right. That way you a) avoid the pit and b) have better chance to proceed towards the front row.
8 out of 9 Sum shows I've been to, I've been on the right side just in front of Tom. Deryck and Cone move around a lot, so that spot is perfect imo to get a close look at all of them. And yes, all of my shows at rows 1-3.
haha, when i saw them at warped i was in the very front, against the metal barricade thing and i remember getting hit repeatedly in the head by crowd surfers but that is better than the mosh pits. Well I'm definitely going to bring my camera and try to get good videos and I'll be sure to post them here

I am still debating attending the Michigan show... should I do that, or should I see the Starting Line? Or should I just not see either of them and save my money because I already saw the Taking Back Sunday TAYF10 tour? Tough call.
