I get to see them, my goals:

1. Meet the band
2. Get a pick from Deryck, Cone, and Tom
3. Get a drum stick from Stevo
4. Try my best to get chosen onstage.
5. (This is pushing it, but hey you never know!) Get there really early to help the people set up.
6. Meet anyone else who's going from here!

I'm just glad this sounds like a real tour show. They said they're performing DTLI and more. I've seen them twice in the past 4 years, but they were both about 30-45 minute sets.

Yeah, I don't like how bands say "North American" tour when western Canada isn't included. I'm not just talking about this tour in particular either. There have been other times where a band did a tour across the US and then popped into Canada for a Toronto and Montreal show. Technically, Quebec is full of separatists, so why entertain them? Ugh. My first world problems!

if Quebec wants to separate, let them. and then BC, Alberta, Sask and Manitoba can be our own country as well. we've got fishing, forestry, oil, mining, farming as well as some of the best tourist destinations. we could thrive as our own country Britaskalbertoba (Bri-task-alber-toba).
