Re: Rate The Latest Movie You've Seen
It's a classic Christmas movie, but I'm not sure if it'll have the same effect if you watch it now as opposed to when you're a kid. I first watched it when I was 9 or 10 and I loved it ever since.Boni Boy Blue wrote:Can't say I've ever watch it.Jeremy Kill wrote:Hell yeah, man.sumfan4 wrote:A Christmas Story 1000/10

Re: Rate The Latest Movie You've Seen
Goon - 7/10 for what it was, a hockey film about a player sent on to start fights it wasn't that bad, kind funny at times too.
War Horse - 9.5/10 well what can one say, tremendous film. Spielberg is so good at telling stories on screen. I've seen the play and read the book many times when younger. And If I wasn't sitting in a cinema and just let my inhabitions go a few times throughout the film I would have wept a little just as I did when I saw the stage version. I may be biased as I've ridden horses and am a bit of a history nut whose read a fair bit regarding WW1 and the treatment of animals especially the horses. However after all that the film is just as powerful and beautifully made, a wee bit long at times, but it was sort of necessary to fill in the gaps of Joey's story. Truly stunning cinematography and script, directed and told as well as anyone could have done. I haven't felt so attached to a character in a long while watching a film, and it was a horse.

The Lion King (Bluray) - 10/10
I haven't seen this movie since I had to for a high school assignment. Really nice to see it in bluray quality. Ending is epic.
