So heres the story- I was in My local Guitar Center when I was just looking around to try out stuff. Then i find this babe- 1977 Vintage Precision Bass! and im like "holllly crapballs" I play it and i fall in love. Its got such a natural growling sound that i love. So then i had to go- i took some pictures of the bass cause i knew it'd probably be the last time i see it before someone with a fat wallet realizes its greatness.
Annnd- my awsome parents suprised me with it being under the Christmas tree!
So- its the new standard! what you guys think?

haha i hate it when that happens!
but yea- i do think that guitars back then were built much better than today. And the fact that its used (and abused) just gives this bass so much character. This was a PLAYED bass, and its scars give the evidemce. And it feels great to know that this oldy is passed down to me to be played for another generation, and not be rotting and collecting dust in some dimwits attic
