well, definitely better than the ones before, Barca is not in it's total shape and they had some players missing(mostly in the first half), but the second half was really good

I have a question.

If Madrid at it's very best, can't manage to beat barÃ§a at it's worst, and at the Bernabeu, when are they gonna beat them?
BarÃ§a was missing both central defenders ( PiquÃ© and Puyol), Busquets the defensive midfielder, and Xavi the core of whole procedure.

Messi hasn't played for...2 months? Had like two or three training sessions, and had a thing to do with both goals.
Alexis made his first appearance yesterday and he was absolutely brilliant, i guess we won't be seeing much of Pedro this year.

well, I kinda agree with you at one point, but as a matter of fact, RM could easily win 5:2 yesterday, but they were extremely non-effective, while Barca did manage to score from two chances in the first half ... and effectiveness changes with luck in every game ...

I mean, we shouldn't say so much that they will be unable to beat them, I personally think that Barca is an amazing team full of professionals who play together as if they were one mind, one brain, they're amazing, and for the last years RM was much worse, simply out of any chance to beat them

on the other hand, despite the fact that RM have not managed to beat Barca, even in it's weaker structure, everyone has to admit that Mourinho did a hell of a good job with the team and RM will most probably be most dangerous this year and able to be an equipollent challenger for Barca

I mean, in the second half, there was Xavi, and there was Pique, Pedro will not play anyway this year, so I don't count him in, and Puyol, as much as I love him and in my head he's one of the best defenders in the whole world, I gotta admit that he's slowly getting older and Barca has all the power that they need to substitute him as a player of high defensive quality, questionable is if any defender can substitute for his persona on the pitch, which is rather unbelievable; the point is, the second half was pretty badass from both sides

as for Busquets, he is a player that was missing a lot, even though I hate his acting just as much I hate Alves's or Ronaldo's or Dive Maria's, I gotta admit that he's, in this time, probably exceptional for Barca, and they still got Fabregas coming in ... But also RM has one guy coming in, Sahin, that is a high quality player as well ...

I, as a fan of football, wish that RM and Barca will be even more balanced than the last year, where RM still lacked some abilities to be an equal opponent, this years shows us a lot of promise, a lot of good games, the more these teams are qualitatively close, the more interesting it will be ...

but the happening around RM and Barca is still not as interesting as the happening around Liv and Napoli

pretty much fun, I liked the fights ! XD I haven't watched the game though, I was out with friends for some days, but according to the wide discussions RM are giant pricks and Barca are Hollywood actors, so nothing has changed, the fans argue with 0 objectivity just as last year :)

btw: Ozil looked like he got punched/slapped ?? I like the temperament, if somebody lays a hand or you, you have a fundamental right to go crazy ...

and just a question for somebody who watched the game and can say for sure(objectively), a lot of people say that RM was better in both of the games, but I kinda don't believe it ... how was it ?

I'm just asking, wtf did I do wrong again ? all I know about the fucking match is that which I have read in the discussions, and there RM fans protect their team and Barca fans protect their team, so all in all I know shit about the match ...

and the only think why I assume that the thing with Real Madrid being better in both games might be true is that Barca fans didn't admit it, but they also didn't say it's not true ... I watched the first game, and there RM was better, but just because Barca didn't go in the game with all they had, I can't say for this game, so I just asked if any of the people who discuss are right ...

but as I see how it is, I'm wrong to ask here, cause I doubt that anyone else than Bobby would judge it objectively, although he too has sympathies rather for Barca than RM

I wouldn't say Real Madrid were the better team, but they were much closer to Barca's level than they have been over the last few years. though that could also be down to fitness levels and where both clubs are in their pre-season. Real Marid still struggled to really carve out good goal scoring chances though. but from these 2 Super Cup games, it definitely sets up an exciting season, Barca will have to stay at their best all season again to beat Madrid.
