Just a couple of quick suggestions here, nothing much.
I think you (Jake, Nic etc.) should change the recent posts/topics panel to show recent posts as topics (like in TNS mobile). I don't want to log on and find the interesting topics obscured by Shelley & Sarah's eSpooning.
Also, we need more smileys. More diversity. Like this guy:
