Don't know if it was here, but in one of the interview in Kiev Stevo told that they fired Gil Norton because "he was doing some emo-gothic shit with the record. And the more he was working on his ideas the less we liked it."

Well it's not what they said about a year ago. Why weren't they honest at this time ? They said he had a different way to work and that it would be too complicated to work with him, and now they say it was an artistical conflict... wtf ? It's totally different.

I've exactly translated Stevo's quotation. Don't know why he said this.

Oh no worries I didn't mean you misunderstood what he said... I just don't understand why they say the truth only one year later.

Well, tbh i don't know why they couldn't get along producing this record. I think they should've combined each others knowledge into making something still 100% Sum 41 but with a better touch of perfection on it, a bit of influence.

To me it feels SBM has been a random record influenced by Deryck's darkest and brightest visions turned into something aggressive and yet enlightening, it was the way he wanted it to be. I have no idea if it was the better or the worse, we will probably never know. One thing is certain though, We're All The Same is a bit of that touch I'm talking about, also Screaming Bloody Murder the single itself has that little touch on it. Notice the difference? I'm not talking about how good the songs are, just the way they are made.

Well, that last setlist from France looks fuckin' perfect, so it looks like a show that should've made it to a DVD (unless of course Deryck was drunk and forgot lyrics again and stuff haha), but damn, its a good setlist... it has both Back Where I Belong and BIME (which I think they haven't played since Japan), plus Exit Song, and even Pieces which was rarely played on this tour... so it's fuckin' perfect. The only thing I would've added to this set is the whole Dark Road.

That sounds good, maybe they had some days off to finally put some great changes onto the set list

One of my friends know guys who works from a magazine near Lyon. They told him they were for sure a show in St Etienne in the beginning of 2012.

I don't know personally the source but I can assure you that my friend is a serious guy. I'm seeing the guys tomorrow. I'll try to get more information !

That's ok! But do you think that someone recorded the song? Or at least 'Holy Image Of Lies' or 'Happiness Machine'? Damn can't wait!

Well now I just rode that someone filmed the whole song from stage.

I don't know if this girl has a good sound on his camera but at least we're sure they won't be annoying discussion/shouting/loud sound from her video :D
