you do NEED your pinky, anything thats 4 frets away from the original note, use your pinky, one finger per fret in the two intro riffs
like, you play it
0 2 3 5 3 2 0 ------------------- you really should use your pinky for the "5"
----------------3
and 7 5 7 8 7 5 ------------ use your pinky for the "8" on both strings.
------------------8 7
it will seem weird at first but you need to keep using it.
and i was saying you simplified it didnt you? aka not doing the superfast picking during the verses.
sorry for the very odd tab.

i liked it,i think your tab is wrong in some parts, but is quite good, and its true is useful to use the pinky but is not necesary,i do that riff the same way as you do,i do like a little slide on that part and for me sounds better than using the pinky, but that don´t mean i don´t know how to use it
"So how long has this gone on
I don't see this ending
It's too late we can't change
What has now begun
We act like it's not so bright
Why we are pretendng
We've been wrong for so long
We've known this all along"
