I don't think it would necessarily have to be just guitar playing. Singing, drumming, or just rocking the fuck out. Ferdehh thought of the idea - wanna make a thread?
The video was shot, it's pretty obvious it's just not edited yet, IR doesn't give a shit if it goes up on vevo or not, so it's up to sum41, IR has nothing to do with it at this point, I'm pretty sure IR funded the video shoot, even if the sums funded it, it's been shot! There's no excuse.

Too bad Sum 41 doesn't have Q+A on their site anymore, then we could all gang up and harass them about the music video, then they WOULD have to answer.....or do they?
Okay so they may not release this video but they have time to put together a documentary type one soon that will be coming out? Alright...
Not that that's not cool though, we just needed this "epic idea" one.
I don't recommend this guy releasing the details of the video on here. If he does, it could provide legal trouble for him, and possibly bad exposure for this website. I think it would be best if he asked Nic for permission to leak details of it first.
The reason SBM didn't do so well in comparison to UH is A) they waited a tremendous time to release SBM, after they had been out of the mainstream eye for how long? B) similar to A, the last single for UH was a while back, and the band has really fallen off the map in terms of popularity in the public eye. C) UH sucked. Sum 41 lost casual fans, lost even some diehard fans, and the singles leading up to the release of SBM really didn't do a whole lot most likely for a ton of people. Did radios even play the singles? Did they get exposure anywhere? People will not buy your record if they don't know about it. People knew about UH because it was such a big deal... Sum 41 was coming back! They hit all the right keys in terms of what to do leading up to the release of that album. They also had their label's backing, most likely. My point is that things are a lot different now. The band isn't as big as they used to be. They're playing a dead style. I think I've said that enough times now.
And I know I said I needed space,
but I know I can't be comfortable in my own skin.
So when I say I'm scared to be alone, you know I mean it,
I'm just not ready to leave my room.

Well, Cone just told me today that they're shooting a video for Baby. I'm assuming it's the documentary-type one that we'll be seeing soon? I can't really see a whole professional video being made for Baby anyway.
