Probably Chuck. That album is just pure awesome from start to finish. Tough album to top.

I think SBM's heavier moments sound heavier than Chuck in terms of guitar, they sound a lot more low-tuned and distorted especially in songs like "Reason to Believe" and "Back Where I Belong"; I think those songs are in drop d or drop c, giving it a darker feel. Songs in Chuck were mostly in Eâ™ tuning. But overall as a whole album Chuck is heavier due to it being more cohesive. Pop-rock songs like "Time for you to go" and "Baby you don't wanna know" ruin the flow and just don't fit the album IMO. "What am I to say" sounds like a pop-ballad from Underclass Hero and doesn't fit either. "Crash" has a dark feel and I have no problem with that. But SBM doesn't have much of a metal influence, there is very little double bass drumming and isn't very technical in terms of the guitar. Chuck had it's moments ("The Bitter End", "88") but a lot of the songs were simple also. But yeah, SBM has heavier guitar than Chuck but doesn't really have much technicality. Chuck did have it's lighter songs ("Some-say", "Pieces", "There's no Solution"), but it still remains more cohesive than SBM.

SBM has a-lot more originality though and is more creative. Chuck sounded a bit like other bands at times.

I wouldn't call neither TNS or Pieces a "light song". Both of those songs have really depressing lyrics.

TFYTG and BYDWK don't ruin the flow for me... They provide relief from all the somber moments

Baby You Don't Wanna Know is indeed a great tune, love the chorus. Time For You To Go is one of two songs on the album I could care less about. The verses are just painfully crappy sounding, but I do give it a listen from time to time and it's got a nice little solo in it if I can recall. Argh, which one is better? I would say Murder as the song-writing and production is on another level. It really is probably the better album, but I can't bring myself to voting against Chuck. Me and that album just have this connection, it's the disk that made me pick up a guitar.

what kind of question is that? How would I know if I like SBM or not without listening to it?

Peter is too young to understand how fresh and new songwriting is on SBM.

I don't think he's too young, I'm 18 and I listen to bands that inspired David Bowie,R.E.M,Radiohead,Can,The Strokes or Pixies to even start to think about writing music ...
This is Mark Allen Hoppus. He likes long walks on the beach. This, this is travis barker. He likes to be read poetry just before sunset. And me, I like to stick small pieces of furniture up my butt.

I spy on my dad while he is taking a shower just like everyone else

Tom:Yea than he starts touching me and i think thats masturbation
Some people think were idiots or perverts dont argue were both.

I know, I have a big urge to remind everyone how awesome the music I listen to is, if that makes me special, than yes :winkwink:

but the point was, that I know 14 year old girl with better music taste than any 25 year old man ...
