Sorry if I missed the link whilst looking, but where can I see this video please? Not because I want to see if they did some songs a little off but just to see some new songs live

i highly doubt that sum 41 can beat arcade fire. AF have been getting A LOT of recognition this past year and honestly, sum41 hasn't been getting any for the last 4 years. the match up that troubles me most is Mumford and Sons vs Tokio Hotel. bunch of stupid fan girls are gonna vote for TH and 99% probably haven't even heard (of) Mumford and Sons. i think Mumford is gonna get my vote.Simon wrote:Guys!!

Re: "Screaming Bloody Murder" Discussion!
I disagree. I haven't heard a single AF song to be honest and I barely knew the name, and we have seen in those radio station votings how crazy people go for the Sums lately. All those left over pop-punk fangirls might come in useful there.2712 wrote:i highly doubt that sum 41 can beat arcade fire. Re: "Screaming Bloody Murder" Discussion!
i'm basing my opinion on the fact that they won album of the year at the grammys, but i guess if it's a fan poll then anything is possible.

Re: "Screaming Bloody Murder" Discussion!
The Sum 41 fans better vote like crazy as 2010 has been amazing for Arcade Fire. Just look how high their latest album ranks on all these "Best of 2010" lists. There's clearly universal acclaim for this album and I'm not trying to be pessimistic, but I don't know if we have enough "With Me sluts" to help us out!

PS - No one take the "With Me sluts" thing seriously, haha. I'm just playing off the whole "Savior sluts" thing that Rise Against had!
EDIT: You also have to take into account people who'll just vote against Sum 41 simply because they still think they're making music like Fat Lip and In Too Deep.

Re: "Screaming Bloody Murder" Discussion!
yeah i really don't think sum 41 can beat arcade fire. i heard they're (arcade fire) becoming pretty big, especially after winning that thing they won recently. sum 41 hasn't been 'popular' for a long time, especially with underclass hero not being as big a hit. maybe some other time after sum 41 regains their respect with this album, though i doubt this album is getting a lot of radio time with the imagery of the lyrics being so dark and violent.

Re: "Screaming Bloody Murder" Discussion!
Random off-topic question: Has anyone ever asked what the scribbling on Stevo's snare drum heads is? My guess is setlist notes, but it seems like more than that.

Re: "Screaming Bloody Murder" Discussion!
I'm quite sure it's the setlist. In one of the professionally filmed performances in UH era they showed a close-up of his snare drum, and it had the setlist they were playing.Simon wrote:Random off-topic question: Has anyone ever asked what the scribbling on Stevo's snare drum heads is? About the MTV March Madness thing, how/when can you vote? I didn't find a way to vote for the Sums?

Btw, whoever doubted we couldn't reach 500 pages before the album release should count on the power of TNS from now on.
