Respect to these guys for doing the interview, and some great answers from Steve and Cone, makes me even more excited! However it really annoyed me that despite constant answers from Steve and Cone they kept asking about a music video for SBM. There is no video yet! We'll get it eventually! Get it!? Sorry, I just had to say it...

I know. I just wanted to created a topic for the discussion of the interview. The other topic was where users asked questions.Still Waiting wrote:yeah adrian already posted it, in another topic

not to be a downer but why does everyone care so much about a music video? it's not uncommon for bands these days NOT to make music videos for their singles. in 2002 is was a big thing because there was shit like TRL and all those video countdowns that promoted the music through videos, but now it's just kind of not important/a waste of money
and music videos can completely ruin someone's personal interpretation/visual of a song. i can't even count how many times i've loved a song then had it ruined by a lame music video. every time those songs come on i no longer think of what made them special to me, i immediately see the horrible video in my head.
i hope there is no video. they don't need one.

I've never really cared much for videos anyway, but it got me curious when they label wouldn't allow them to do their first idea for a video.kevin5064 wrote:not to be a downer but why does everyone care so much about a music video? it's not uncommon for bands these days NOT to make music videos for their singles. in 2002 is was a big thing because there was shit like TRL and all those video countdowns that promoted the music through videos, but now it's just kind of not important/a waste of money

It looks like the two "rock & roll" type songs were the ones Deryck paid from his own pocket to have recorded. I can imagine those songs just having some sort of Rolling Stones vibe to it.

I couldn't quite understand one single question the guy asked them.
I figured out what they were when they answered them though.

Stevo seemed to have real difficulty understanding him too haha, He was like, "What? Pardon?" xD Awww.
The interview itself really could have been done a lot punchier it dragged on a bit... But all good info
About videos: IMO seeing the band play their songs is pretty inspiring at the best of times, sometimes though they're pretty irrelevant to the song I know (Walking Disaster wtf?). I prefer Motivation-style really...
