The only rap/rap-related music that I listen to is probably Rage Against the Machine and Beastie Boys. They are cool though.

To me rap is always that thing that sounds weird and belongs to the poor people who can't afford musical equipment.

this post is very funny, but you were joking, right ? XD

almost every fucking band we listen to started out as poor guys recording in their garages or even bedrooms ! Blink 182 started with their music in Scott's room(their former drummer) and Tom Delonge's first guitar was given to him from his friend's father who found it among the garbage on a dump

and apparently, thanks to Blink 182, Sum 41 didn't have to go through all that shit, but that shit is the best thing ever, it's the most amazing thing to see a band build their career from nothing at all, like Blink 182 or Nirvana or many other bands
