Haha, it is unqiue and different, as is everyones. It took me about 1 or 2 times to read it before I actually made out the lyrics. I do have to say they're interesting! I think this album will be quite a different direction for them.

One of the busiest dudes in rock, Tom DeLonge is currently finishing work on a full feature film and an Angels & Airwaves double Album. But despite all the distractions there's also the little matter of a Blink-182 album to complete, and the guitarist tells ROCK SOUND how the band are sounding better than ever.

HOW DO YOU STAY FOCUSED?
I just know that I have to say extraordinarily productive - It gets most stressful when I start saying everything out loud But the Blink album is going well and at this point in our career we can't make something that will suck because we've got so good at what we do individually that when we come together it's always even better. The songs we've made are very diverse, full of energy and very modern.

WILL IT BE DONE IN TIME FOR THE UK SHOWS?
Absolutely - we will not tour if there is no new record. The goal is to finish and squeeze it out at the very last minute so people have the new songs in time for the dates. The album will be great, I promise you that. It's going to be what everyone wants it to be. It will be fun and full of attitude but the songs are super-relevent and giant sounding. Think Blink, but statium rock.

HOW DID YOU END UP WITH ALL THESE PROJECTS?
I'm a hobbyist. I start these things and then suddenly there are people working for you who have families and mortgages. You care for them and you think 'Shit, I'd better turn up to work today!

IS IT STRESSFUL?
I'll be honest..At times, yes but I love going to work. I play guitar in my studio all day and when I put that down I go next door to talk to my buddies about the cool stuff we're creating. I have a great situation.

I know this wasn't directed at me, but the Blink-182 concert a few years ago (when they just got back) was the greatest concert I went to!!! Then again, I haven't been to a Sum 41 concert yet!! :razz:

that would be great imo ...every concert of Blink 182 Boomer would be on the stage...he still can do that pedo smile very well...I think that just the Boomer's presence in Blink would make Blink extremely funny again :winkwink:
