what happened with Barca as well? I didn't watch the game, just saw the result yesterday. I watched the Real game last night, I lolled at Casillas.

Nothing happened really, games after Fifa week are always tough, and Sporting Gijon deserved at least that one point they got.
As for Real Madrid, i was impressed they managed to get through the game with 10 players, now they're just 5 pts away, how exciting!

this weekends games certainly make the league a bit more exciting, especially the 2nd Barca/Real match. if Real win they'll be right back in the race. Barca are still favourites for me though.

we should get rid of Lucas and Maxi Ridriguez ...the only time you can hear their name is when they foul someone ...

but the positive thing was Suarez,he managed to get in some cool chances all by himself,which is a good thing because he is a good striker,and a bad thing because nobody was fucking able to make a chance for him...

I don't want Lucas going anywhere, he's been one of our most consistent players this season. you don't always see it, but he's an important player for us. looking at his stats he's one of the best players we have in terms of passing. and if he did go, we'd have noone to replace him with other than an ageing Poulsen.

neither of them are good enough defensively though, they're both better ustilised further up the pitch with Lucas the holding midfielder between the defence and midfield. now Mascherano has gone, all we have for that role is Lucas and Poulsen.
