i listen to music from the 90's and 00's but i would have to go with the 60's or 70's because alot of the music that came from that time influenced the bands we listen to today to create the amazing music they have made.
And I know I said I needed space,

but I know I can't be comfortable in my own skin.

So when I say I'm scared to be alone, you know I mean it,

I'm just not ready to leave my room.

true. a lot of bands out now were influenced by those from the 60s and 70s, and a lot of bands in the future will have been influenced by those from now.
confused? :)
plus, those bands stole all the good, simple riffs. because of it, well be listening to the beatles and the stones forever

Since I grew up in the '90s I'd have to say the '90s. I'm trying to listen to some more '70s and '80s punk rock though.

Also, the '90s was like the year of the boy-bands... which totally sucked growing up in.

I think we've entered like, the emo/mascara era now.

i like specific things from the 00s better than the 90s, but i have to say that the 90s was better when u consider all sorts of music. the punk was great then, and i even like alot of the pop stuff from then. alot of pop songs now are incredibly lame.

i like my dads 80's music more than anything that i like.

i think that that the 00's are too popy-rap-hip-hop shit sounds.

the 90's had too much soft stuff and the 80's had hair bands and crazy metal stuff from what i here from sirius radio...
you have far too much time on your hands
