I think Heart And Skull have a distribution deal with Epitaph so it's basically the same label except Epitaph is run aby Mr. Brett and H&S by the Trio.

I don't know anything about Heart & Skull, but if it has anything to do with Epitaph then it's a good shout!

Got an email from Island Records.
The band is currently on tour in Europe but will be back in the states in March after a quick trip to Australia.
Guess we'll be seeing the world tour in March then forsure!

Alkaline Trio started the label to release This Addiction, but i'm not sure of it's status right now. Epitaph is a great label anyway.

yea I agree, Sum 41 will fit in perfectly alongside other bands they have on their roster. it's a well run label started form nothing, but now they have the resources to accomodate "big" bands like Sum 41.

No Sum 41 is much bigger and better than most of those bands. Weezer is pretty big, but Sum 41 needs a more popular label.

I think SBM is either the last one, or there's still one more.
Yes SBM is the last on the contract with Island. The band absolutely hates the label so...I highly doubt they will renew their contract. I have talked to Matt about this and he said they really have no idea what they will do in the future.

No idea what to do - in a depressing way, or no idea what to do as in it shouldnt be a big deal and they havent given it much thought? lol

and btw jeremy 3:06 - 3:11 was fucking hilarious lol

nah, screaming bloody murder is the second to last. there's still one more with island. i had this conversation with deryck in late october. easily mistakable though cause the rest of the band weren't sure and also thought screaming bloody murder was the last. deryck knew for sure.

I hope Screaming Bloody Murder becomes a big hit so the label can kiss ass to the band and let them do whatever concept of music video they want and not have their uploads on YouTube blocked for using their own songs. Dicks.

Sum 41 aren't as big as they used to be. what label do you suggest then? anything bigger will just a Major, and how will that deal be anything better than what they already have?

I'm studying journalism and I am currently training in the French magazine Rock One and I had the opportunity to hear the new album by Sum 41.
In my opinion, "Screaming Bloody Murder" is by far the best Sum 41 album.
Most songs are very intense and powerful. The guitar riffs are the best ever written by Deryck. Only two or three songs I was disappointed. My favorite song is "Jessica Kills".
