yeah, maybe thats what it's needing. I do agree, those drums in KC's song get annoying after a while, it's just the song I was listening too when the thought came to me...maybe because those were done so blatant..haha

Video update where the title "Panic Attack" appeared was released last day of 2008.. I'm pretty sure that's the first time we heard the title.

Let's all be fuckin happy that this album will have 14-15 songs..

Serious, I hate that bands bring out 'albums' with 10 songs! Ten is gay. Twelve is acceptable. But 14-15? That's great, as long as it doesn't has 4 interludes.

I'd rather have 10 epic songs that last like an hour or so than 15 song packed in 40min with fuckin time-filler like footsteps or heartbeats.

But I feel the album's coming nearer and it will be so amazing :2cool4u:

It’s like sounding really nice, having a good feel, that’s all about the guitar.
That’s what I care about. I’d rather be a better strummer than fuckin' jizz all over the fuckin' fretboard...

love it how a lot of new albums out have like 8 songs... and HHOP was an EP and it had 11!!! some GD albums even have like 18 songs. I would hate for the sums to release an album with under like 13 songs. 15/16 is the best number, over that it begins to drag on/include filler, and less than that and it just sounds unfinished or rushed.
fuck this signature nonsense

Might have mistaken there then, but atleast truth is that I said first Tom co-wrote that song for the new album.

But whatevz, I still rule.

I actually like it the way it is. It is somehow different than what I am used to, but it fits good..

The drums in SBM are almost perfect in my opinion. May be the bassdrum could have a bit more "oomph", but I think that's intentional because it is off-beat during the chorus and the snare is pushing the song most of the time anyway.

If we could hear a bass-drum just a bit more the song would be more rich and sappy (don't know if i can say "sappy" about a song) But i really love snare, it fits perfectly.

^ yeah thats what i was just about to say. if there's 14 songs and one of them is 12 minutes long, and say the average length of the remaining songs are 3 and a half minutes each, minus an intro track( i just have a feeling theres an intro track :ohshiz: )thats about 54 minutes of music right there. of corse, other than "epic", the length of the songs could be relatively shorter.

to be honest, with the 12 minute song, there was no way I was expecting 14 tracks, but 14-15 is wicked! It'd be nice if some of the songs were around 3 minutes, and not 2:30 like Skumfuk, it's a great song but it's really short.

yeah thats what I was trying to say, and didn't...lol. oopmh. I love the snare, just feel it needed a bit more richness and heavyness...might sound better on the album and live though.

btw I love the "new" title, thanks Tomi

Yeah, though I get this feeling there will be some sort of intro track like Chuck or a hidden track like Underclass Hero included in the 14 or 15. I just hope there isn't any "joke tracks". That would ruin this album. I don't know why, but I wasn't too fazed by Ma Poubelle when I first heard it.

I'm hoping the songs are of decent length (3+ minutes) without needless endings (last 20 seconds of The Jester) or drawn out outros. Every time I listen to Underclass Hero, the album seems to end much quicker than the others despite it being the longest album in their catalogue.

the mp3 of screaming bloody murder that was given to the forum, who sent it? was it actually from the cd (meaning did it have track number information or anything)? i'd think though this title track would be the first track of the cd

According to Sum 41 France (sorry if this has already been posted) Cone says that one of his favorite songs is "Reason to Believe", another new title!
