For me, honestly, alot of Sum41 songs are just kickass songs to listen to and remind me of good times. I can't really relate to a bunch of sum songs, but the ones I can are Handle This, 88, and Slipping Away to name a few. Slipping Away most defenitely, it describes me.

If you try hard enough, you can relate to anything. That's what I think of when I read topics like this.
And I know I said I needed space,

but I know I can't be comfortable in my own skin.

So when I say I'm scared to be alone, you know I mean it,

I'm just not ready to leave my room.

I don't think I can relate to an entire song. Just small sections or single lines. For example, the first half of Screaming Bloody Murder. The rest (minus the outro), not so much.

Not sure... Though possibly SotD. It's a kind of dark song which just throws up in disgust in the face of the mainstream. A lot like Good Charlotte's Misery. I can DEFINATELY relate to that.

well still waiting, was the first song by the sum i heard, if i remember right, i dunno it brings really good memories
pieces, my roomate is always singing that song since i introduced her to the sums plus it's probably my song

now that i think about it, they're one of my favorite bands but their songs aren't the most meaningful to me, weird

Well, there are a lot of sum 41 songs which could be meaningful to me. For example 'Best of Me" when you're feeling down. But also In Too Deep is a recently favorite song of mine ( ever since I can play the song on my guitar ). In Too Deep creates a summer feeling, which makes me often quite happy.
But these are just 2 simple examples. Every song gives his own message, if you're asking me.

Properly Fat Lip, that was one of the many anthems of my teenage life. Getting wasted at different houses and just being a complete divi in general. I miss those days :sosad:

Hopefully you are joking, anyway 'Kick me When I'm High' is a song from SR-71, but you must know that

Pieces. Every time I hear the intro I get chills. It's probably moved up to the top of my favourite Sum 41 songs because every time I listen to it I just feel somewhat connected to it in some way through the lyrics. (Could have a different meaning for me than what the concept is actually about) but whenever I'm feeling down I just always have to have this song playing to get me through things. I think it's one of the most deep songs the band has released. Of course all of their songs can be relatable, I just think theres a few select songs of theirs that can have a deeper meaning like Pieces does for people. For example, With Me, Best Of Me, ect.

Scottie Doesn't Know was the third Sum 41 song I ever heard. It's undoubtedly my favorite. Possibly better than Screaming Bloody Murder.

You can't find it because it doesn't exist. For some reason someone thought Sum 41 had a song called Scottie Doesn't Know and anyone who had a program like Limewire found that song.

So we like to joke around that Sum 41's best songs are Scottie Doesn't Know and Kick Me When I'm High. Two songs Sum 41 has never done, but have been mistaken for Sum 41 songs thanks to Limewire.

or it wasn't by accident but on purpose to promote those bands.. or it was just an experiment to see how far that file would go.. just like Nic's version of SBM and Skumfuk

Best of me is currently very meaningful for me.
The best slow song Sum 41 has made imo with Slipping Away.
