All Killer No Filler 10th Anniversary (Japan Release)

Post by kevin5064 »

sorry if this has been mentioned already. last summer there were rumors about a 10th anniversary reissue of AKNF and now it looks like it is happening but in japan only

Japan original deluxe edition of "All Killer No Filler" release from SUM 41 commemorating the 10th anniversary of the band's career. The CD features the latest remastering and the high-fidelity SHM-CD format (compatible with standard CD players) and contains rare tracks which were not included to the album. The DVD contains footage "Homemade Film," which was included to the Japanese edition of the album, the contents which were included to the Japanese edition of their second album, and more (subject to change). Comes with an original towel and a reprint of promotional sticker. *Advanced Japanese release (subject to change). *Unless otherwise indicated, DVDs are region-2 encoded (Japan, Europe, and Middle East), and carry no subtitles.

looks as if it will be released the same day as Screaming Bloody Murder. i guess it would be kind of cool to hear it remastered. anyone going to order it?

This might be rather controversial, but I'm pretty sure that if there is anything rare it'll probably be up online within hours.

So, how is this different from normal CDs? Like a HD-CD?

Rare tracks, I guess songs like astronaut is rare to them.

it'd be awesome to hear Astronaut remastered from that old tape demo they made. i actually doubt they have the original master recordings from that old demo, but who knows.i thought this re-issue was gonna be out a while ago? maybe i was dreaming. in that case, bow to me; i saw this coming.

I highly doubt the release will contain anything we haven't heard. I've bought from that site before, I like it a lot. I actually pre-ordered UH from there. It arrived at my house before it was even released in the US. Pretty rad. :glad:

Was that the one with the poster coming with all the pre-orders? I only heard of it after someone told he/she got a poster with the pre-order from Japan, so I was quite disappointed I bought it from another place. :sosad:
I hope they'll have some kind of special deal this time too.

it probably won't have anything "unreleased" but the remaster is going to make it sound a lot better. you can noticeably tell a difference in the guitar tone on the all killer songs that were put on the greatest cd compared to the original album versions.

Hopefully they will have a Does This Look Infected? remaster next year, video, bonus tracks and all.

Then it must've been either HMV or Tower Records. But well, a small item like a poster wouldn't matter, it's the bonus features that get me excited. :glad:
