I think they should've not said that they are going to release a surprise. Waiting for something that is promised is hard, when they could've just given a real surprise by not telling about the 12-min song or about the soundcheck, and then releasing it without notice. That would've been a pleasant surprise.

I hate wait more and more days, all we know is the "surprise" is not the Amin's soundcheck of Screaming Bloody Murder and that is a "very big surprise"
According to AbsolutePunk.net, Sum 41's new single, "Screaming Bloody Murder", will hit radio February 7th.
I really can't believe it since we've all been waiting and waiting and now we'll finally have something new in less than a month! March does seem like a realistic release for the album then and I hope it turns out that way. All I have to say is February, hurry it up!
I don't even care if it doesn't come out in January if that date is confirmed. At least then we have some form of concrete date to fap over, and with singles it's nearly always the case that they leak somehow before they officially go to radio.
February yeah, I hope that if it's true and remember the "Screaming Bloody Murder Listening Party" in Japan this month maybe we have something new after January 20th but we have to keep waiting for that "surprise"
I was hoping for something before the end of 2010 and we didn't get shit( 20 second clip doesn't really count) and now if there isn't anything before January i'm calling shenanigans on this BS.
