Sum 41 / SBM discussion

Remember back in 2004 while Sum 41 where in Congo and all that happened which influenced them to write such an epic record as Chuck.

I thought that the whole Chuck was written before they were in Congo...and the only song written after their strong experience was WATB...at least I heard so

True the rest of the record was written before the whole Congo disaster..
Deryck got this tune in his head when he was there but he didn't have anything to record it with, he couldn't even call home to use his voicemail to record it.
But he remembered it all when he got home and it even became the first single..

I agree that it should be deleted ...but I checked the video and why such a harsh ?? it seems like except for the true fans nobody really gives a fuck about some SBM or Sum 41 new song ... XD

So if only true fans care, then why to put on YouTube in the first place? True fans are here and on the other fansites, not on YouTube.

Although this is only a short clip, it could've been a whole song aswell. DW uploaded it only for us, the regular YouTubers would've been happy also without it. The band wouldn't appreciate it being leaked, so why not keeping it close to TNS only, rather than sharing it to the big crowd gaining attention it doesn't deserve.

You could report the video as a copyright infringement. Other than that, I don't know how to get it removed.

you are talking about the things I understand ...I know it should not have been uploaded,I am just trying to say that it's not such a big deal ...mostly because the term BIG CROWDS that you used is greatly exaggerated :P I really do not believe that there is that much people who wait for any little info to appear ...it's just us who are that crazy

C'est vraiment vraiment dommage. Mais lui, c'est pas un vrai fan de Sum 41. Il ne les respectent pas. C'est vraiment degoutant et... triste. Vraiment triste.

Peut-être tu peux le faire dans la section de média? C'est pas juste de punir les vrais fans aussi. Ben, pas 'punir', mais tu sais... C'est pas nous (lisez: les vrais hardcore-fans) qui ont fait ça.

Ils disent que les Sum 41 aiment la France qu'ils sont beaucoup venu ces derniers mois (de 2007 à 2010 nous n'avions rien eu) Ils seront au zenith de paris le 5 fevrier pour jouer de nouveau morceaux ! L'album est pour mars !
Deryck dit: C'est cool de faire des petits concerts comme celui du 7 novembre a Paris C'est une expérience vraiment cool pour le public. C'est génial de partager cela avec des super fans parce que ça n'arrive pas si souvent que ça

Dans les 3 derniers scans, Deryck & Stevo sont interviewer. Les journalistes disent qu'à la derniere interview le groupe était timide et peu bavard contrairement à ce jour là ou ils ont bien parlé et rigolé.
D& S disent que l'album est finit depuis des mois et que c'est a la maison de disque de décidé à present.
Ils disent également que les tournées sont fun avec sum 41
Ils ont adoré joué dans la petite salle de Paris ! Stevo dit: Je crois que c'est de loin le disque sur lequel on a le plus fait parler notre créativité. SBM est un album très ambitieux UN PUTAIN D'ALBUM
Deryck dit que l'album est très varié

And relevant things for me of the interview:

- Sum 41 like France, they will be in Zenith, Paris on February 5 to play new songs
- The album is out in March (again)
- Deryck said: is a really cool experience for the audience. It's great to share it with super fans because it does not happen that often (something like that I try to understand or translate it ^^)
- Deryck and Steve say that the album is done but as we know it depends on IR to release the album
- They loved playing in the small room in Paris!
- Screaming Bloody Murder is a very ambitious album a fucking album
- Deryck said that the album is varied

They say they love France very much, since they've been there a few times last year. They'll play another French show on the 5th of February. Deryck likes those small venues, it's a really cool experience because they can have a lot of interaction with the fans.

The album is scheduled for Mars.

Sum 41 France is mentioned in the interview.

On the last 3 pages Deryck and Stevo get interviewed. They say the album has been done for a month now and that all the stuf is up to the label now. Sum 41-tours are fun to do and they love playing in Paris.

Stevo says that SBM is by far their best record because there's some much creativity in it. It's really an ambitious record, a hell of a record! (in a good way, of course). The album is very eclectic.
