When the video that compiled all the possible music pieces that would appear in Screaming Bloody Murder was made, there were so many pieces from the studio updates that I forgot about. After watching it I was like, "Holy shit, this album sounds like it's going to be awesome!" Especially the piano parts.

Think I'm going to re-visit all of them this weekend. Totally forgot about that vocal snippet too
I did that yesterday.. it took me quite some time but it was cool to see everything they've done so far..

Having listened it to a few times now, it does have a bit of sum 41 feel to it..
I wouldn't deny that it's sum 41.

same here. I've never heard it before so I can't say it's anyone else. it does remind me of something though, I just can't think what.

That's a cover of something. I just don't know what it is a cover of though. I think I remember hearing it in Home Alone 2

Allthough it has some SBM-vibe in it (at least from what we know and heard of it), it's not Sum 41.

The double bass drums, the Home Alone II-medley, I don't know...

Why should it be Sum 41's?

Why should it be Sum 41's?
It may very well be faux. But in the other hand it fits the descriptions quite well.. That's why I won't condemn it hoax. But neither will i say it's genuine sum 41. Since it seems kinda fishy...
But if i had to say which one is it, i'd say it's fake.

It sounds like its played on Drop C and I don't think the Sums would every play on Drop C... I mean, I think it's too hardcore to what the Sums play mostly... too heavy/hardcore stuff.

That's just a melody from a Christmas song that I can't remember the name of right now. Other than that, I've never heard Steve playing blast beats and he never brings double kick to the fore as much as that. Also, it sounds like the drums are programmed. So unless it's a demo, but it seems highly unlikely!

Anyway, didn't Heather say one of the songs she heard on the bus was the title track? If this is indeed it then she'll be able to confirm for us once she's on.

True dat.

This sounds like what I expected Skumfuck to sound like but I don't think it's SBM.

EDIT: on a second listen, that's definitely it. That would explain the tune and the relation to HA2. Oh well...
