WANTED!!!!

Post by UltraKolby »

I not quite sure if this is in the right place but whatever...

I'm in search of a program that can seperate the vocals and the music from a song and put them on two different files that i can put them into mp3 format. I want to make a mashup of some songs. I tried using audacity but it didn't really work out that well. If you guys have any suggestions, I would love to hear them. Please and thank you!!

It's impossible to do if you want a product that sounds good. It's possible but it will sound like shit. The instrumental track will have a lot of lost frequencies. It will lose all bass, etc. The vocals will still be there, just not as noticeable.

Have you tried Karaoke software? That's all I could suggest.

I agree with Nic, there are actually some softwares that do it, but still you'll hear some voices, and you'll lose some frequencies, wich means the song won't really sound the same, and may remove other instruments with the vocals (if they share the same frequencies). Anyway, I guess that most softwares out there should satifsy you. If ever I remember the name of a good one I'll post it here.
