I'm not too bothered by the waiting on this song because I've been listening to a lot of new bands but I keep reading "soon" or "next week" , which hasn't happened.

well, they're probably not new to you, but they're new to me. stuff like Jimmy Eat World and Alkaline Trio (especially), Yellowcard, 30 Seconds to Mars and Against Me!
and some Mayday Parade, Hey Monday and Lights, mehh I even gave I See Stars a listen

I remember it was the night that "Tom's Angels" supposedly had the song and I waited until 4:30 in the morning to find out it was a joke. So that's not gonna happen for any band unless it's confirmed by THE BAND THEMSELVES!!!!

I can't believe that most of you in this thread are counting days, if not hours.
Haven't you learnt anything from the Sums' "soon"?

New site coming soon? Took about 6 months.
New R2R episode coming soon? Took 8-9 months.
Album coming out at the end of 2009 at its latest?
And don't get me started with Cone's B-side...

For me it's all positive if the song comes out before the album release. And even if it doesn't, it would still be on the album when it's released. Also, it's been only one month since Scumfuck. Why releasing two new songs so close apart? Afterall it's been almost two years since Always, so I'm happy to wait a little more than few weeks to get another new piece of Sums.

Even though it isn't a long-term, it's an estimation.
If they said the song would be released on a specific date, or even just "this week", then I'd be counting hours for it. But "next couple of weeks" is a really rough estimation, and those haven't been accurate earlier.

I would be far more excited if Scumfuck wasn't released yet. One month between is too little for me to get excited all over again that much. I mean, if Scumfuck was released like 3 months ago or more, then I'd be dying for the new song. But I still consider Scumfuck a brand new one, so I'm still in excitement for that one.
