So how did everyone here discover the website/forum?
I've been a member of some forums since I was young and one day it occurred to me that other people might bum Sum 41 as much as I do and that there's probably a Sum 41 fansite forum out there. So I probably Googled "Sum 41 fansite" and here I am.

Re: How did you discover TNS?
My quote from the TNS 3rd anniversary thread:
And here we are.
So yeah, I was at the Sum-Time forums, where someone (Nic?) promoted his new fansite. It was just the forums, with only few members, but I decided to give it a try.TomiT14 wrote:To be honest, I never thought this site would become anything when I joined here.
Sum-Time / Summer41 was the #1 fansite, and it was very active and full of updates on UH.
Then out of nowhere, some random dude made a thread of "Join the new fansite! It's going to be the #1 fansite!". Well, I decided to take a look, but by no means I was expecting it to get any bigger than Sum-Time.
If I recall correctly, It didn't take more than 4 months until Sum-Time / Summer41 had to close its doors because of lack of activity. That was only about a month after UH release! TNS had already became bigger than any previous fansite ever was.
And here we are.

Re: How did you discover TNS?
I was banned from PunkDisasters. I was able to check the main website, I believe, and this website was one of the affiliates. I clicked this website from the links on PD, and here I am. This is why I would love to affiliate with other websites... because we could end up getting new members that way. People like me might join.
I swear I had something to do with this. Maybe it wasn't you who I directly talked to about this website, but it might have been. I thought we were buds on PD at some point. Maybe we weren't. Who knows.Emil wrote:PD.

I just was on sum-time.com and then got to this site somehow. It was kinda weird, I just registered here when I first got to know about this site and didn't post that much at first. But now.... Kinda gotten out of the hand, haha.

Re: How did you discover TNS?
Well V and these other two dudes, Brandon and Hysteria (both no longer active on the site) had the vision of a new Sum 41 fansite. At the time PunkDisasters.com was the place to be. We were all members there. I was very active in the graphics section of the site. They saw my work, knew I loved Sum 41, and asked me to join the crew for this new site, TheresNoSolution.com. I took the position, we started the site, and I have been here since.

Re: How did you discover TNS?
I was watching the youtube videos of the acoustic Sum 41 songs and saw in the description that it said "courtesy of theresnosolution.com" or something along those lines. I wanted to download the songs, so I came here. I think I joined because you had to be a member to download media, though I'm not exactly sure, but I stayed because I liked it.
I have to say congrats and thanks everyone for making this a great forum! I've joined a few forums after I joined TNS, and I only visit one, very rarely though. The rest of them either died (WaitedTooLong, the New Found Glory fansite, which I still have in my favorites bar, lol) or I just never revisited the sites after joining.

Re: How did you discover TNS?
I discovered TNS pretty much the same way Tomi did. I was a member of Sum-Time and while I was there I kept seeing posts like "blah, blah, from TNS" and "yada, yada at TheresNoSolution.Com" so I got curious and checked out the TNS forums. Upon first impression, the forums looked a lot nicer than Sum-Time, but since I was already a regular poster on Sum-Time, I decided to just stay there. I did however, register an account on TNS under "Gunner" but didn't use it for a month until Sum-Time closed down and I had no where else to go for Sum 41 stuff. Mind you, I kind of stuck around so I could download the leak, haha, and by then I was attached to TNS at the hip.
