Re: "Screaming Bloody Murder" Discussion!
I think I'll start to get more annoyed if it isnt out by wednesday next week. that was my original prediction... i dont see why everybody is complaning about the new song being released EARLIER THAN EXPECTED. they said 2-3 weeks (meaning 3-4 weeks) about 2 weeks ago, so next week should be the right time. but i agree, its really all down to the record label.
oh and simon, i think theres actually another thread for that, by jeremy :)

Re: "Screaming Bloody Murder" Discussion!
Cone and Steve said in at least 2 or 3 interviews "In the next two weeks", and that was right now 16 or 17 days a go. And I don't care what your meaning of that is. I'm not complaining about the fact we don't have it yet, but about wrong things being said (that's not only you bro, I've been wrong many times as well).Gregorovich wrote:... Conclusion: if they say 2 weeks, I'll expect it in 2 weeks, not earlier, not later. Allthough we all should know better by now.

Re: "Screaming Bloody Murder" Discussion!
I don't want to overanalyze what the band says or anything, but when they were interviewed in Cleveland (when was that, like last Wednesday?) Stevo said that the new song would be out in the next week or so. It's probably right around the corner, but maybe that's what the label keeps saying and that's what the band just keeps repeating?

That second part is what everyone is overlooking. Those two little words can make it be a day more or like 2 weeks more.

I wish Sum 41 would live up to Underclass Hero

Well I won’t be caught living in a dead end label
While praying to my government guns and gods
Now it's us against them
We’re here to represent fans
To spit right in the face of the label.
And now i dont believe (ain't got no faith in nothing)
Stand on my own (ain't got no sympathy)
Wasting the time (while being young and useless)
Speak for label (and dont pray for me)
Well because we're doing fine
And we don't need to be told
That we can't release
The new so-oooong
And we don't need anything from you
Cause we'll be just fine
And we won't be bought and sold
Just like you labels
(A call across the new album)
Calling out loud with no release
I’m not the one, just another pushup
I’m the voice to offend, All those labels who pretend
Unsung against the grain I'm here to rise against
And now i'm desensitized ( I state my place in no labels!)
Burning the contradict (of the degeneration)
Everyone see (the anthem of no future)
Down with the mass (causes we're not listening)
Well because we're doing fine
And we don't need to be controlled
That we're here doing fine
Cause we won't give you money
And we don't need anything from you
Cause we'll be just fine
And we won't be bought and sold
Just like you
May I have your attention please…
I pledge allegiance to the label as the douche bag at large
1..2..3..4
We’re the saints of degeneration
We don’t owe anyone an explanation
Fuck contracts
We don’t need this
We're the elite of the just alright
Well because we're doing fine
And we don't need to be told
That we're here doing fine
Cause we won't give you control
And we don't need anything from you
Cause we'll be just fine
And we won't be bought and sold
Just like you

It's actually amazing how unfunny that was. Kind of an accomplishment by itself.

I don't know... I pictured Deryck in his usual garb, singing that remix to some executive suit behind a desk and it kind of made me chuckle at the thought.

Re: "Screaming Bloody Murder" Discussion!
Fine I'll come up with my own... Prepare to cringe.
Nevertheless TNS folks wait for the occasion
They waited for a year now here’s the situation
The new record will come out "soon" so don’t change the station
It's taking so long cos we take so many vacations
Better songs than "Walking DisASTER"
Harder, aggressive and FASTER!
We'll have to hurry up cos JesusChristSupermarket is an impatient little bastard!
Sum 41 were never good at any sports
Stevo is awfully sexy in those short- shorts!
I’m Tan-Brown Tom and you see me running late
I missed my flight to Rehersals cos I had to masturbate!
And I’m Bizzy D I'm not gonna let Avril put me down
She's just an bitch ass c*nt from skanytown!
A sandwich that's Hot Blonde snooty
Does anyone know who the hell is Mickey Macooty?
Stevo as a vegan and does not like to eat bacon
Screaming Bloody Murder will be moneymaking!
(Chorus)
Rock! It's what we're all about
It's what we live for
C'mon shout it out(x4)
