With countless forums out there in the internet world, you must be a pretty dedicated sums-fan if you're an active member on this one. I've been a member for only a week or so but I've been a sum-fan for years and it stands to be my favorite. I feel like a loner in here so I wanted to bring up a new topic to meet sum new folk.
my band's a three-part based in wallingford, CT. It's called Coastal but were looking for a new name and a rhythm.
where are my fellow sum-fans and please tell about your band. name? how many people? positions?
please forgive me if this is a repeat!!
Your Band?

I'm in a band called Socially Inept, we're a four-piece out of Winnipeg, Manitoba and we actually just finished a few demos in the studio that you can check out over at http://www.myspace.com/sociallyineptrock. I'd suggest checking out Lookout and Enough, they're my favorite.

Stop lying to him, its god awful. It would be decent if the singer could sing at least a LITTLE in-tune.BrandonCorey wrote:Love the band man. Re: Your Band?
My first band was called "Try Honesty" a 5 piece with my girlfriend on vocals. Based in Manchester, England. We only started to play a school gig and played covers like Teenagers, Holiday, Ruby (Kaiser Chiefs) and All The Small Things.
Last band was called "Ask Max" and we were a 4 piece also based in Manchester, England. Started because we we've been friends all our lives and and broke up because we all moved to different Unis around the country. We did a few gigs, wrote some of our own songs (pretty good ones) and covered stuff like Let It Be, Where Is The Love, Song 2, Propane Nightmares, Paradise City, I Kissed A Girl, Buck Rogers etc.
My current band doesn't exist because it's a pain in the arse to find a decent singer. I've been looking for literally two years..

Re: Your Band?
how many gigs have you guys played that honestly were good?
we messed up on the soundcheck at one of our gigs and you couldnt hear anything from the guitar.
another time, all you could hear was the guitar

Re: Your Band?
This is my band, Emmure. We're kind of a big deal in some places... I'm the guy in the white ;)
but I know I can't be comfortable in my own skin.
So when I say I'm scared to be alone, you know I mean it,
I'm just not ready to leave my room.

Re: Your Band?
Well that's a little rude. I'm the singer and the singing is in-tune, my voice may be fucking annoying but it's still in-tune.ThanksForTheVenom wrote:Stop lying to him, its god awful.
