I mean I expected it to be very good, but after reading something about MCR, I didn't think it was going to be THAT good. The first 30 seconds I was like "WTF is this supposed to be Sum41?", although I recognized the guitar riff, but then the chorus hit me and it felt like I was kicked into this pool of awesomeness which I'm now stuck in forever. I don't care what happens next, I feel like I could run the next 2 years on this song.
I wish I had my drumset around right now, I'm already air-drumming the whole thing like it was written for me, lol.

This song contains all the elements that Sum 41 used in the past (vocal harmonies, piano, different parts in the same song). But the way Deryck sings, it's so different. In a way, this song ended up not too far from what I expected from the band. I expected it to just be a more aggressive Underclass Hero with better instrumental parts.
I still can't get over the second chorus when he screams out that line "The best of luck..."

I like the song, I think the break up with avril it's something that will affect positively to the album, a darker album than UH...also to avril too xD. The outro of the song it's not that cool, but I don't complain too much.
It happened to me with this song the same as "Always": the first times I heard it, it was weird, but then I love it.

when I think back to when still waiting and march of the dogs came out.....this song just doesn't give me that great feeling. am I really the only one that isn't crazy about the song? maybe I was just expecting the metal of we're all to blame and such to come back......yeah I was was

I don't know, I'm just excited listening to Scumfuck as I was listening to March of the Dogs. I'm even more excited with Scumfuck because of how different it is. After Underclass Hero, I'm not expecting a whole lot from the guitar-side of things.
The song itself is sure darker than those on Underclass Hero, so I'm happy with that.
The beginning of the song is pure magic. Derycks voice is so brilliant, can't find words to describe it, but I have to say one word, fantastic! Fuck me, this song is so fuckin badass. Already in love with it. How the hell am I suppose to wait until the album release ;(

No your not. The sounds like an mcr b-side.
Obviously alot of people here are sum41 fanatics who love everything sum41, when they hear a song for the first time it's "OMG GREATEST SONG EVAH!" especially after taking forever to make a sum41 album, after listening to it a few times the simple chords, a lack of a catchy hook, meh.
