why are most new albums coming in "super jewel" cd cases?

i dont know about you but i think this new design looks retarded, as does the shape of the back cover.
whats wrong with the old designs? if it aint broke dont fix it!

probably so the opening part of the case doesn't break off as easily...like the other ones do.
but i havnt seen them

Thats only in Europe dude. I got my European copy of UH today and its in that kind of case. I like the case.

i think the normal cases are good enough.
i have a lot of sum 41's singles and those cases really suck, my in too deep case just broke when i opened it

normal cases suck, i have a few that are super jewel, but yeah, theres not much difference its kinda dumb

did any1 find the underclass hero album tight to get out from its case...maybe i was being delicate, but it required some force to remove from its case!..didnt wanna snap the disc of course...

you just answered your own question their, the old cases do break and need fixing. so they did, i like them coz i'm clumsy

there supposed not to break as easily as the normal cases, i have a few cd's in them cases, don't like the look of them

the front part is alot easier to scratch and makes the cd look really grubby

also, the booklet is impossible to remove without bending or creasing it somehow
