Re: Read Dead Redemption
I almost bought it today, but I decided to hold off because I need to finish the God of War trilogy and Uncharted 2 before I go out and buy another game.

Re: Read Dead Redemption
Argh I was sort of in the same position but I bought it anyways. I got the trilogy and I've played some of the first one and most of the third one. Completed Uncharted 2 recently though, I recommend that first because it's probably the best!Jeremy Kill wrote:I almost bought it today, but I decided to hold off because I need to finish the God of War trilogy and Uncharted 2 before I go out and buy another game.

Yeah, I should probably get going on playing Uncharted 2. I want to finish off the God of War trilogy before I play Red Dead Redemption, but I'll probably buy the game long before I do that anyway.Max wrote:Argh I was sort of in the same position but I bought it anyways. Re: Red Dead Redemption
Ordered it, hopefully I'll get it Tuesday/Wednesday! Really excited about it, spend Friday evening watching youtube videos of it............. ~30-40 hours of gameplay which means it will probably take me a year to finish it, haha.

Re: Red Dead Redemption
Yeah, it took me about 16 hours to finish the main story. For some reason it seemed really short, like much shorter than Grand Theft Auto 3, which I never did finish because it seemed to go on forever.
I'm working on getting the Walton's Gang outfit, but I can't win a game of poker if my life depended on it. Even if I get a really good hand, the other guy always has something better. I've wasted like $400 playing the damn poker games. I'm also trying to finish up those challenges to get the Legend of the West outfit. So far, I've completed the Treasure Hunter and I'm at Rank 7 for Sharpshooter and Rank 3 for the other two.
I really like the atmosphere of this game.
