WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED?

I .... WANT ..... THIS ...... UPDATE .... NOW!
(This is my impression of Angry German Kid in case you don't get it)

"someone should download all the updates to his computer, so we have a backup in case YouTube screws up..." thought about it yesterday, why do I always have to be so fucking right?

Any idea where I can watch it now?

Ah, it's okay! You're not the only one! I missed this update aswell. :/
I hope they decide to put it back up. I would love to hear them talk about a song from the album.

And that's a good idea! I watch all the old ones quite often so maybe I could do that when I have time this weekend or so.

Well... It was hard to understand sometimes, because of Stevo.

They're just sitting there, talking about a new song Deryck wrote, some sort of ballad. And Steve said it's not the sort of ballad Deryck usually writes. This one would be 'WOOOW', or something.

It's about being pulled away from life, not being dead yet, but seeing all the things around you.

I guess that's it.

Imo update wasn't THAT good. Lars just wrote everything they said. If the update is good I always rip it immediately.

I hope that the song is something as epic as Restless Heart Syndrome.

lol. That's a decent song, but nowhere near epic in my ears. :silly:
So I hope the new song is far more epic then RHS. :glad:

I thought it was one of the poorest tracks on the album, untill giving it a proper good deep listen. Do that, and i think youll realize the full scale epicness of the song :D

Exactly. It was awful when I got the CD, but after listening to it for a while, it became good, but nowhere near epic. :silly:

Awful song on an awful album in my opinion.

It's not a bad song, but I wouldn't say epic either. But what does this have to do with the new Sum 41 album?

I'm thinking about pre-ordering it on Amazon.de to get it as soon as possible.

Last time my pre-order got scratches on it, so I'm trying to get it physically somewhere.
Then again, last time there was this "get a signed booklet if you pre-order" thing, so if there's a similar offer this time too, then I'd pre-order for sure.

Now that picture IS epic :D Also, somebody's sig of Deryk pointing onstage looks a lot like technoviking- also EPIC.

No more news as to the upcoming single recently? It's almost undoubtedly gonna be JK.

Just want to comment on Restless Heart Syndrome real quick. It wasn't until the solo of that song that I fell in love with it. There's just some darkness to that song that I just love. It's classy, dark and still has attitude. I have a feeling the new Sum 41 album will have the same effect on me.

Anyway, the update video was difficult to understand because Stevo slurs in his speech and the background music (Chuck's intro) was too loud in my opinion.

This song that they were talking about is apparently very emotional and "compelling" because it sounds so "vulnerable" unlike this other ballad they were talking about that just came off as it was going to be a typical-sounding ballad.

It's been a while since we had an update on the process of the new album.

I consider it as uhm placidity * before the storm.

*not sure about this word, had to translate it with a web translator, so I'm not sure if it's correct or not

I actually was, but I wasn't sure that was proper English, so yeah, that was it.

But on topic: what are your thoughts on this? It's quiet, in my opinion. Maybe too quiet. Still hoping they're going to surprise us in about a week or two, something like that.
